By engaging my services, you are agree to the T&C’s laid out below.

Marriage Celebrants are required by law to ensure several tasks are completed and that the marriage is registered appropriately according to the Marriage Act 1961.

To meet those requirements also means you, the marrying couple, are required to meet certain obligations too. The most obvious ones are to give Notice of Intended Marriage with a minimum one months’ notice, meet the legal requirement to marry, supply identification, birth certificates and/ or other legal paperwork for viewing by the celebrant as and when requested.

There are other conditions that maybe required of you, this includes the signing of my service agreements. These are as follows;

A Booking Fee of $200
This reserves a particular date and time for the couple. Once is booking is made you have secured me as you Celebrant.  I wouldn't be able to accept other bookings for your booked date and time, this fee is non-refundable or transferable. Only in extenuating circumstances I may consider your refund requests. Examples would be a government ban on weddings. All requests must be made in writing. 

 

Ceremony Starting Time
in the event of your ceremony being delayed beyond 15 minutes, I will be entitled to proceed to my next commitment (if any) and cut your ceremony short. An Extra charge of $100 per 30 minutes, will apply once the ceremony is late beyond 30 minutes of the scheduled time. 

Should you need me to return to complete the marriage. you will need to book in on later date and place to solemnise the marriage.   I will not agree to a transfer of NOIM at the late stage. Please plan your day leaving plenty of time for things to go wrong or take longer than expected. Better to be safe than sorry. 

 
Loan of Wedding Materials
The loan of any materials may or may not also be covered by the Booking Fee. A deposit may be required, and if not returned a financial penalty will apply. 


Copyright
Copying and distributing wedding material given to you by Celebrations by Chee, in most cases will be covered by copyright laws. Therefore, remains the property Celebrations by Chee. You must get permission before copying, printing or distributing any materials on loan or given to you.

Additional Travel Costs

Travel cost, incidentals and Accommodation charges will apply if Celebrations by Chee should see fit. Should accommodation be required, our policy is the best available rate at the venue or within 60 minutes travel time. 

Outstanding Balance of the Fee
Your final payment is payable IN FULL 2 Weeks prior to the wedding day. We are unable to accept cheques. Direct deposit & credit cards can be used for payment. Failing to make this payment could result in cancellation of my services, no registration of your wedding and I reserve the right to cease our service agreement. 

 

Refund Policy

If you wedding is cancelled within 3 weeks of the booked time and date, then no refund will be given due to short notice. Other situations will be considered on a case-by-case bases at my discretion. 


What if I'm seriously ill or unable to officiate at your Ceremony?
Whilst it is very rare, occasionally your celebrant may become ill, have an accident, or have some other problem that means they are unable to meet their commitment to do your wedding. After all celebrants are human too.

In such circumstances, your celebrant will usually ensure every endeavour is be made to find a replacement celebrant. (Source: www.celebrations.org.au)

Workplace Health and Safety

I work in accordance with the responsibilities contained in the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011. After you have signed your service agreement with me then I reserve the right to conduct a site inspection. Should I feel uncomfortable or unsafe in your chosen location, I reserve the right to cancel our agreement.
